Lipstick tube packaging materials used as lipstick products for wedding dresses are difficult to control because of their complex structure and functions. Therefore, the quality requirements of lipstick tubes for cosmetic packaging materials are relatively high, and the following methods need to be done when checking and accepting lipstick tubes:
Specification testing
1. Instruments and equipment: electronic balance (0.01g), plastic plate, caliper.
2. Weight requirements: Weigh the empty tube with a weighing instrument with a sensitivity of 0.1g, within the standard value and tolerance range (±0.2g) confirmed by both parties.
3. Dimensional requirements: Use measuring instruments that meet the accuracy, and the overall length, diameter, aperture, length of the end seal, and pipe wall of the lipstick tube are within the standard value and tolerance range confirmed by both parties.
4. Full mouth capacity: put the sample tube and plastic plate in the middle of the electronic balance and return to zero; fill the empty tube with material until it is full, refill it to the mouth of the pipe after cooling, scrape off the excess material at the mouth of the pipe with a blade, and weigh .
How to know the quality of cosmetic packaging material lipstick tube
Dimensions and compatibility testing
Use a caliper to measure, and at least 10 tubes, caps, and inner plugs of each model number are selected from each batch of materials, and tubes, caps, and plugs of different model numbers are matched randomly. Put the matching lipstick tube into the blister and check its matching condition. Fit the outer cover and measure the break with a caliper.
Screw in or push out
Inspection method: Screw in or push out more than 500 times.
Rigorous testing
1. Inspection method: put it in a 45°C incubator for 24 hours without oil leakage when it is placed horizontally or upside down.
2. Vacuum leakage test (limited to products with air tightness requirements): fill the product with water, lay (or turn it upside down) on the absorbent white paper in the vacuum box, vacuum -0.08MPa, 15 minutes, the loss rate Shall not be greater than 0.5%.
Drop performance test
Inspection method: Add the material with the same net content as the product in the tube and match the corresponding cover, place it horizontally and horizontally at a distance of 76cm~1m from the ground, and drop it freely on the ground; drop the same sample 3 times.
Solvent resistance test
1. Inspection method: Apply the corresponding paste on the printing test surface, place it in a 45°C incubator for 24 hours, wipe it with gauze soaked in disinfectant alcohol according to the conventional disinfection method, and observe whether there is any coating peeling off; if Corresponding tubes and covers need to be wiped or rinsed with other solvents in the pretreatment process, and the corresponding solvent resistance test should be done according to the pretreatment method, and the results should be observed after 24 hours.
2. Inspection frequency: For products that have been produced, lipstick packaging materials of the same specification and type should be inspected at least once a month; new product packaging materials must be inspected for the first time.
Compatibility between lipstick packaging materials and contents
Test method: After the lip balm tube is filled with the material according to the production process, the vertical tube body is completely pushed out of the material and then rotated. The operation is repeated 3 times smoothly, and the cream does not fall off.
Detection of the total number of bacterial colonies
1. Sampling: Add 3ml of sterile physiological saline, cover the lid, and vibrate against the lid and bottom several times to fully contact the inner wall of the saline packaging material tube.
2. Calculation formula: number of colonies (CFU/tube) = average number of colonies/sample volume × amount of water added to each tube.
3. Inspection frequency: Lipstick packaging materials of the same specification and type from different suppliers shall be inspected at least once a month, and the subsequent three batches of lipstick packaging materials that fail the inspection shall be continuously inspected.
